PEANUT BUTTER AND JELLY MOUSSE SPREAD

PEANUT BUTTER AND JELLY MOUSSE SPREAD

It only takes two ingredients, when combined, to raise the status of P&J to classy!

Makes 2-1/2 cups

1 c. creamy peanut butter (Jif and Skippy brands are gluten-free)

1-1/2 c. 100% grape jelly (not jam)

In bowl mix both ingredients till smooth and whipped, and most of jelly, except for small specks, incorporates into the peanut butter.

Transfer to covered container(s) and refrigerate till ready to use.

Notes: How simple is that?

The reason we don’t use jam is because the gelatinous nature of the jelly makes this mousse a mousse–injecting air into the spread!

This is another spread where you’ll be going to the fridge to get a teaspoonful at a time to satisfy your delectable craving!

When making a sandwich out of this spread, it tastes like dessert!
