Toasted country-style French bread spread with Chocolate Walnut Butter, then topped with a quickly made smokey barbecue sauce. Tastes like an open-face chicken sandwich!

Quick Barbecue Sauce

½ c. ketchup

2 T. prepared yellow mustard

1 T. A-1 Steak Sauce

1 T. raw sugar

1 t. liquid smoke

1 t. Balsamic vinegar

1 t. corn oil or extra virgin olive oil

salt to taste

In small bowl combine all ingredients. Stir well till blended and smooth.

Chocolate Walnut Butter (see Nut Butter section for recipe, or click here –

country-style French bread, sliced and toasted as desired

Spread toast liberally with Chocolate Walnut Butter, then spread liberally with Quick Barbecue Sauce.

And that’s it! Eat. You’ll love it!

Notes: Use the barbecue sauce at room temperature, right after you make it. I tried this with bottled barbecue sauce and it wasn’t the same. The A-1 Steak Sauce is what makes it work.
