Fresh juicy nectarines, sweet white grapefruit and red seedless grapes, drizzled with maraschino cherry juice, then topped with a cherry! This is a dessert my mother used to make in the summer!

Makes 4 servings

1 large white grapefruit, cut into segments
2 ripe nectarines, pitted and thinly sliced
1 cup red seedless grapes
1 small jar maraschino cherries

To cube grapefruit: Cut grapefruit in half around the equator. Using the tip of a sharp knife, run the knife between each triangular piece of grapefruit and the membrane that surrounds it. Lift each segment out.

Place grapefruit, nectarines and grapes into a bowl and toss to evenly distribute. Spoon into dessert cups. Drizzle each serving with a little maraschino cherry juice then top each with a cherry.

Notes: The color presentation is brilliantly contrasting and the flavors commensurately charming! Serve as dessert or at any time for any reason.
